Depatment of Psychology extended its Internatonal Collobaoration

Prof.Dr.ShantaNiraula, Central Department of Psychology, Lecturers Narayan Prasad Sharma,Tri-chandra Multiple Campus, and SandeshDhakal, Central Department of Psychology Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, were invited to the Department of Psychology, King’s College London, UK to attend and participate in a series of meetings and discussions during November 20th to 27th, 2017.



These meetings were to discuss the ongoing UK-Nepal international research project titled “Childhood Maltreatment: Emotional Consequences and Potential Intervention”. This is a multicultural and multi- national project, involving Nepal, India, and United Kingdom. In these meetings, research findings of Studies One and Two were discussed, and the protocol for Studies Three and Four were finalized. These meetings also providedthe Nepali and the Indian teamswith essential research training needed to complete the project. The meeting was also scheduled with a consortium of researchers from different academic institutions across the UK, who provided expert advice and guidance relating to the project.
